The Facility

Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC is situated on 40 acres of rolling hills in Lena, Illinois. The property was originally a dairy farm that has been pain-stakingly remodeled into a state-of-the-art equestrian facility. Keeping the integrity of the original buildings was very important to us – allowing the farm to embrace the heritage that it had stood for in the community for so long. Each building was renovated and now houses the latest equipment the equine industry has to offer. It was a big job that was tackled with heart and soul, with the results beyond even our wildest dreams.

• Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC offers 22 large stalls in two barns. All stalls have been fitted with rubber mats and heated automatic waterers. Most stalls have windows. Some have dutch doors. Each barn is designed for optimum ventilation. We also offer a 5 stall guest barn for clients who want to bring their horse for a week or weekend for lessons.
• Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC has 11 large pastures providing grassy turnouts. All horses are safely enclosed with 4-board oak rail or Electrobraid fencing. Each pasture is equipped with heated automatic waterer.
• Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC maintains all riding surfaces specifically with Dressage horses in mind. This includes our 54x150 indoor arena with heated viewing room, skylights, mirrors, and a tack up area with heat lamps and tack room. In addition, our indoor arena has been completely insulated to accommodate riding through the winter months.  Our 200x250 outdoor arena holds two large regulation dressage arenas and is usable three seasons a year. All arenas are leveled and dragged daily. We also offer a separate indoor roundpen for year around use to start young horses.
• Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC provides a  break room with mini-kitchen and seating, a large bathroom with shower, two oversize wash stalls with hot and cold water, a solarium, a vet exam area and a first aid station all within the confines of an insulated and heated building.
• Twelve Oaks Farm, LLC is proud to offer on-site 24 hour security to ensure your horse’s safety. The property is gated and is equipped with an alarm warning system when any vehicle enters the property.
